The photoshoot that keeps on giving! Kina Grannis’s new French version of “Stairwells” includes several of my shots. Go Kina.
One of my photographs of Kina Grannis was recently used for an album cover for her single “The One You Say Goodnight To”
Atlanta’s Gringo Star rolled through New York this week. I shot them in the Orchard studio and in the East Village. Their new record “Count Yer Lucky Stars” will be out on Oct 25 on Gigantic Records.
Here’s another photograph from the recent shoot I did with Mates of State. Styling by Carrie Weidner. …And here’s the Mates talking about their favorite things in Spin Mag!
On a recent Saturday afternoon I took photographs of the unstoppably crazy-in-love couple and band Mates of State on a hilltop in the Northeast region of the US for their upcoming new release “Mountaintops”. Styling by Carrie Weidner.
My first magazine cover! My shot of Kina Grannis on the cover of the most recent Lemonade Magazine, with a nice spread on the inside with some of the other photos from the shoot. http://www.lemonademagazine.net/articles#!__articles
Last month I shot the absolutely charming Kina Grannis high atop a rooftop in New York City.
In and around The 5. Click here for full set.
Prospect Place, right in front of Danny’s Grocery. Brooklyn, NY. Smiling girl unknown, but highly appreciated.
Brooklyn Summer. Dekalb Ave in Ft Greene from the rooftops
DJ Comrade aka Comrade da Xao is a producer, deejay, and a gifted purveyor of all things Brazilian and Baile Funk, based out of New York City. I photographed him on a frigid day in the winter of 2011 on Bond Street in New York. Twist your mind around what this kid is doing: http://soundcloud.com/comrade-xao-productions
I shot promo photos down in Red Hook, Brooklyn for Emily Flake, an illustrator, cartoonist, and writer living in Brooklyn, NY. She’s published 3 books, creates a weekly comic called Lulu Eightball, and is a regular contributor to the New Yorker Magazine. Fur coat and dress on gracious loan from the wardrobe department of We Came In Peace. Loud cat calls and whistling credited to unnamed local men.
Photographs of “Michael & Edie,” a new play by Rachel Bonds.
Michael and Edie meet in a mysterious, mixed-up bookstore where they bury themselves amongst shelves and secret passages, tin cans and tea kettles in an attempt to flee from the rest of their lives.
